So, I'm getting a little older, and hopefully a little wiser. Been doing a bit of reflecting lately. And here are some things I've come to realize...
* When you're a mother, you will put words together in a sentance that have no business being in the same sentance. Example: "Get your toe out of your sister's ear and stop licking the cat!"
* When a man shows you his genitals, "It's cute" is not the appropriate response.
* I use just as many maxi pads to catch pee when I cough as I do for their intended purpose.
* Homework in elementary schools in designed for the parents, not the children.
* Common sense is a super power.
* When a woman is sick, she is still expected to cook dinner and care for the children. When a man is sick, he can't help because he's dying.
* Sometimes, even teachers don't know what they are talking about.
* A man that doesn't care for his kids isn't a father, he's a sperm donor that isn't smart enough to get paid for his donation.
* Hindsight really is 20/20.
* After a rough day, Calgon really can take you away!
* Men who like candlelight are 100 times sexier than a man who doesn't.
* Whoever decided short hair is easier is full of shit.
* Lip gloss makes you feel prettier.
* The longer you're with someone, the less time you spend shaving.
* Love is definatly more intense than lust.
* Kids only get sick in the middle of the night, on weekends.
* And finally, Laughing at yourself isn't as much fun as laughing at someone else!
Feel free to add things that you've realized in your life!!
